This Earth Day, Middle Georgia State University Dining Services had the opportunity to participate in MGA’s second annual Fresh Check Day, an event on Macon and Cochran campuses, that highlights mental health awareness and suicide prevention. Educational materials supporting Earth Day and mental health awareness were shared with students.
Guests were encouraged to take a waste-less pledge and to participate in outdoor activities, such as planting wildflower seeds, to support Earth Day and to enhance their mental health and sense of well-being.
